Master Mount’s G-Clips & Hockey Sticks are the fabricators favourite for the installation of sinks.
The G Clip is specifically manufactured from spring steel and is designed to flex under load but then to “spring” back to its original shape when that load is removed.
This accommodates the kitchen sink being fully loaded and then emptied repeatedly and is why the G Clip works so well.
This has been tested with a person standing in the sink at around 80Kgs and no adverse effects. Use G Clip and Hockey stick sets for use with Stainless steel sinks. Use G Clip and Z Plates for use with Ceramic sinksG Clips are also available on their own should you not wish to use any plates at all.
Directions for use: Cut a 50mm long slot 50mm away from the sink aperture with a standard grinder blade that is 3mm wide. Apply usual sealant around the perimeter of the sink lip and push sink up to worksurface. Put the Hockey Stick onto the lip of the sink and then place the G-Clip into the slot and hammer into place, holding the clip onto the lip of the sink securely.
(You will receive either G Clip & Hockeys stick set or a G Clip and Z PLate set, but not both in the same kit)
However you mount your sink, make sure it’s a Master Mount!
