Innovation Hub

Take stone fabrication to the next level with the Stonegate Innovation Hub

Delivering Excellence

In May 2023, we opened the doors of our new premises Stonegate House. A 42,500 square foot, state-of-the-art facility based just outside of Hull, with great access to the M62, A1 and M1, our new offices and warehouse was a vital part of our mission to help our customers deliver excellence.

One key aspect of this mission was the construction of our very own technical centre – The Innovation Hub. Specifically designed for testing and training, the Innovation Hub is a live stone workshop, developed to help us deliver the best possible product and experience for you – the customer.

The Best Tools for the Job

Featuring a CNC work centre, saw, edge polisher and Dal Prete water filtration plant, the Innovation Hub allows us to rigorously test the parameters and performance of every piece of tooling we bring to market. Once we have this information we can work hand-in-hand with our manufacturers to fine-tune and optimise these products so we can guarantee you are getting the very best tools for the job.

Fundamental to all our new and existing product development is the feedback we get from you – our fabricators. Which is another reason why we opened the doors to customers to allow them to visit the Innovation Hub and maximise their relationship with Stonegate. We have already welcomed hundreds of stone fabricators, from Granite House to Marble Building Products and many more, where they have had the opportunity look at the various solutions we deliver that maximise efficiencies and profits.

Fabricator Training Sessions

These sessions allow you to get your team into an isolated training environment, without the pressure of running active jobs on machines, to enable those being trained to fully absorb all of the information. Each session will include up to 15 fabricators, where you will be trained by our technical fabrication experts. Our workshop features an Intermac CNC and Breton Genya saw and edge polisher, alongside a wide range of hand finishing tools.

Material Supplier Testing

Help your team, and your customers, understand how to fabricate your material, and other surfaces, while developing an invaluable knowledge of the tooling and machines. Receive exclusive access for up to 15 people, where you will be trained and advised by our technical team. Training is conducted on state-of-the art CNC and bridge saw. We also have an edge polisher and a wide range of power tools to demonstrate hand finishing.
