Keep Nut Kit for holding sinks, table tops or cladding in Stone, wood, concrete or glass
Drill an 11mm hole with the supplied blind 11mm drill, blow dust out of hole insert the keep nut and tap into place with a hammer. Place penny washer over keep nut then nylon washer onto top of the penny washer then screw the thumb nut in through the washers and into the keep nut until tight
Effective dry securing system for holding sinks mechanically, quick and no resin needed.
The full Keep Nut Kit Consists of Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 & a 11mm Drill
Thread stops before end of insert, avoiding extraction as a result of the use of an excessively long bolt – Radial force is produced only while the insert is under tensile load. The crowns spread the load into the parent material, allowing large loads to be carried
Average Pull-out load on a single Keep Nut insert is approx 300Kg. Tests were carried out under laboratory conditions. Pull-out figures are indicative only and are offered for guidance purposes. It is recommended that you undertake your own tests in the actual application panel material.
