Since it was launched in 2024, Stonegate Red profile tooling, a Stonegate exclusive range has been revolutionising countertop fabrication for factories across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe. We set out with the mission to develop a range of profile tooling that could deliver three things better than any other tooling out there – speed, finish and lifespan. Using ongoing feedback from stone fabricators in the UK and Ireland, we worked directly with the manufacturers to develop an exclusive line of world-leading profile tooling.

Our Stonegate Red range was tested rigorously, almost to destruction by our trained stone fabrication technicians to develop an exclusive line of world-leading profile tooling, made for fabricators, by fabricators. Before launching, our testing process is extensive, both internally in our custom-built, world class fabrication facility the Innovation Hub and directly with trusted customers. But even after launch, we find it important to reach out to customers to understand their experience with our tooling. We spoke to one of our customers and he said this:

Super speeds
The other thing worth focusing on with the Stonegate Red range is the high speed the tools are able to run at. Capable of outrageous speeds up to 7000mm a minute, Stonegate Red outperforms standard tooling by running an almost unbelievable four times faster! And these high speeds don’t impact the life of the tools. Provided you use our Optimo setup system, you can guarantee they are pre-set and calibrated to within a micron – delivering flat, even contact with the stone, ensuring the tools last just as long.

This is a saving of almost 9 minutes per sink. So, in an 8 hour shift, based on 1 sink per hour, per machine (9 machines) – it would equate to 10 hrs and 45 mins time saving. That would mean you are able to process an additional 3 sinks an hour!
Attract the right customers
Stonegate Red is suitable for use on multiple materials too, meaning you are not having to invest in separate sets of tooling or turn jobs away if they are using harder, more complex materials to fabricate. Even on delicate materials such as porcelain, ceramic and UCS, the same high-quality results can be achieved as on engineered stone and tougher stones such as quartzite. While you aren’t able to run them quite as quick as if it were on granite or quartz, you can still achieve speeds a long way above industry standard.
