Silicone sealants: What’s what?

Each stone type has different properties which need to be taken into account when choosing a stone silicone sealant. Thankfully we have a range of options for sealing stone including different brands and colours.

Our silicones are perfect for sealing joints between natural stone or other porous surface joints which may need to be sealed in areas such as kitchens or bathrooms. Many of these sealants are specially developed for natural stones meaning as well as being non-staining, they are resistant to mould and UV rays, and retain elasticity to ensure a long-term sealed finish.

Stone Safe Silicones

Stone Safe means suitable for Natural Stone. Whilst traditional silicone contains oils which may penetrate certain stone types causing discolouration, our natural stone silicone sealants are specially formulated to prevent these issues and prevent any contamination. Our stone-safe silicone is safe for use on a wide variety of stones including marble, granite and natural quartzite.
