18V 125mm Cordless Stone Cutter, from Stonegate, combines a high-performance brushless (BL) motor with a universal battery platform to deliver fast, efficient cutting. The brushless motor provides increased power, longer runtime and reduced maintenance compared to brushed alternatives. This is the perfect solution for stone fabricators looking to make trim cuts and adjustments wet on-site, whilst reducing the risk of silica dust spreading – therefore preventing silicosis.
For cleaner, safer cutting, the LXT comes with a 500ml water supply tank as standard, helping to suppress dust and improve blade performance during wet cutting applications. The cutter is also compatible with Makita’s optional guide rail system, providing greater cutting accuracy, improved manoeuvrability and straighter, more consistent cuts on demanding jobs.
